Our After Sales Team can help with a whole range of services, from connection of utilities to your property,to a complete re-location to Cyprus... and even help out with up-to-date advice on how to bring your pet along too.
Utilities
At GMP Mirror Homes we understand that moving to a new property can be extremely stressful and even more so when it is in unfamiliar country. With this in mind we aim to make things run as smoothly as possible for you when taking delivery of your new home.
Our After Sales Team will assist you in arranging the connection of utilities to your property by giving you all the necessary information required to enable you to connect to the water and electricity supply.
Utility bills are payable at regular intervals throughout the year to the local municipality for the water and rubbish collection and to the electricity authority. You can either pay the bills at the local town hall (water) and electricity at the electricity board. Alternatively it is very easy to set up standing orders with your bank in Cyprus.
Utility bills are based on consumption and there is also a municipal council charge for the rubbish removal and this varies from municipality to municipality but is approximately CYP50.00 to CYP80.00 per annum.
White Goods and Furnishings
Whilst some of our projects include white goods, air-conditioning and furniture in the price, should you decide on a property not included in this offer we will be more than happy to point you in the right direction ensuring you get value for money at selected stores.
We can also be on hand to take delivery of such on your behalf.

Insurance
Until the time you take delivery of your new home we will insure it, however once you have taken possession it is advisable to take out home insurance through a reliable and reputable company in Cyprus.
Our After Sales Team can give you helpful hints and advice regarding insurance cover and help you get the most competitive quote in accordance with your requirements. In case you ever need to make a claim, again we can assist you with the paperwork.
This service is not limited to home and contents insurance but includes a range of policies from car to medical and life insurance.
Pets
Buying a property in Cyprus means a new home not only for you...but also for your pet(s).Don't worry as since Cyprus joined the European Union in May 2004, The Pets Travel Scheme was implemented, allowing registered animals to travel without restriction in Europe.The scheme applies to the majority of domestic pets.
From the UK to the rest of Europe, your pet needs micro-shipping and vaccinating against rabies, once this is done you should then obtain an EU pet passport.The passport must confirm the micro-chip number and date it was done and a record of the rabies vaccination.
In the UK and Northern Ireland, the passport is issued by a Local Veterinary Inspector ( a government authorised vet ).
